Spreading the festive cheer.
After years of thinking up gifts for friends and family, aren’t we all struggling to come up with imaginative and meaningful ideas now? There are always the go-to options to choose from but most often a perfume or a wallet just don’t cut it. Every month we feature new and exciting gift ideas for birthdays, anniversaries, festivals and every other kind of celebration. With Diwali just around the corner, we picked a few of our favourite options that’ll help make the restrained celebrations (No thank you pandemic!) just a little happier.
Cocktail Box: Bar Box from NAVU Project & Tulleeho
Can’t go out to celebrate? Don’t worry. Bring the celebration home instead. Bar Box is literally a bar in a box. Minus the alcohol it holds everything anyone will need to whip up an exciting cocktail. The perfect gift for every cocktail lover it has everything from mixers and garnishes. The Diwali Edition Bar Box is stocked with Pineapple and Cinnamon Shrub, Ginger Syrup, Verandah Cordial and dehydrated orange slices. There are also recipe cards and Spotify playlists thrown in to complete the mood. This particular Bar Box is available for delivery in Bangalore between 12th and 14th November so hurry up and order.
Cheese Platters: Begum Victoria
No party is complete without an exotic cheese platter. The enigmatically named Begum Victoria is a Bangalore based Artisanal Cheese company started by Chef Manu Chandra (of Toast and Tonic fame) and cheese aficionados Shruti Golchha and Pooja Reddy. With delicious handmade, varieties (Havarti, Truffle Brie, Herbed Feta, Manchego, Ricotta, Cheddar or Fontina made on a rotational basis) served on a beautiful wooden board along with crackers and condiments, these cheese platters make for not just a unique and aesthetic gift, but also one that becomes the centre of the celebration.
You’ll find them on Instagram as Begum Victoria Cheese or on Whatsapp at +91 97316 69332.
